Bee Positive
How to help save the bees and support your well-being, one flowerpot at a time.
Connecting with nature and supporting our local environment has never been more important, both for the wildlife around us and our own wellbeing.
If you would like to support your local wildlife and to discover for yourself the benefits of connecting with the natural world, then our Bee kind Challenge is a great place to start.
Research studies show that exposure to nature makes us happier, reduces depression and anxiety and positively impacts mood and well-being.
When we engage with the natural world on our doorstep, through simple actions like planting seeds, we can experience these benefits of exposure to nature ourselves.
Bees are a keystone species which means many other life forms depend on their contribution to the environment to survive.
This means planting seeds for bees opens a doorway through which we can fundamentally impact the health of our local ecosystems.
So why not connect with the positive power of nature and help save the bees at the same time?
Bee conservation is simple, fun and family friendly.
We will show you how to transform your garden, allotment or windowsill into a paradise for pollinators.
Anyone can contribute and all levels of experience are welcome.
If you are in full-time education help us raise awareness of the importance of bees by entering our bee inspired art and design competition.
We are based in Bradford, West Yorkshire where we are encouraging local communities to help make Bradford Bee-autiful. If you are not from the UK we would love you to get involved in the Bee Kind Challenge, please just make sure you remember to check your local native flower species and the conservation organisations in your country.
